Very narrow, arching, silver and green blades characterize this fine, graceful silvergrass. Tiny reddish-brown plumes appear within or slightly above the foliage in late summer turning silver in the fall. Plumes and dried tan foliage persist into winter. Cut back before new growth appears in the spring.
