Profusion Crabapple

Profusion Flowering Crab is bathed in stunning clusters of fragrant cherry red flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive dark red flower buds before the leaves. It has attractive coppery-bronze-tipped dark green foliage which emerges purple in spring. The pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn yellow in fall. The fruits are showy ruby-red pomes carried in abundance from early to late fall.

  • »  Bronze-colored foliage fades to a bronze-green
  • »  Bright red flowers, pop of pink in the center and the fruit colored is a warm maroon and about 1/2" in diameter and persistent.
  • »  Birds are attracted to the fruit, fruit may be harvested for jellies
